The Spring Fiesta's annual horse-drawn carriage parade rolls through the Vieux Carré. La Reine and Le Roi and their attendants, in full Court dress and lovely ladies and gentlemen in stylish spring attire, give flowers to onlookers as the parade winds its way to the cotillion Gala for "A Night in Old New Orleans." The New Orleans Spring Fiesta Association is pleased to announce the newest element of the parade, Les Beaux Chapeaux. The walking brigade took its inaugural stroll in the 2024 Spring Fiesta Parade. Dressed in elegant attire to rival Ascot and the Kentucky Derby, members sashay, wave, and enjoy giving flowers to observers along the route. Entire families join in the fun as baby prams are adorned with spring posies and lovely ribbons. Antique cars and a New Orleans Jazz band complete the royal spectacle.
