Gallette des Reines (Queen's Cake), Gallette des Rois (King's Cake), Epiphany, Queens and Kings! Whether it be pulling a bean from the cake as a young lady is selected Queen, or enjoying this delectable dessert by command of their Majesties, King Cake and Queen Cake have, for over a century, been an intimate part of celebrating the New Orleans culture of social royalty.
